Howdy~

Does anyone have any info on how to join the Texas Society? I've heard all about the chili cookoff in August and how it is thrown by the Texas Society. But I can't find any info on how to join? Help

Amber,
I am in touch with the coordinator. He is off island until next week. Be patient and I will post when I talk with him.

Texas Chili Society, P.O. Box 306926, St. Thomas 00803. Or e-mail them to [email protected], attention Erik Ackerson.
Friend of mine was a member of the Texas Chili Society who passed away suddenly last week. The TCS does more than Chili. They donate to local charities as well. Address/information taken from Larry Donoghue's notice of death in St. Thomas Source online.

Just called Eric - the cook off is August 28. Email eric at the address shown above and he will send you info. Come visit the VICL Chili Cook Off Booth. Thinking of the name - Sun Seasoned Chili? Do the booth as a large dinghy?
