Is public transportation available and dependable.
Are bikes a good mode of transportation.
Do you recommend shipping a car or buying one on the island.

Depending in bikes or public transportation is not an option for most people.

Hi grammie,
Don't know why you are posting your questions in the "community" forum, but you will probably get more responses in the "general/relocating" forum. The community forum is more for clubs, events, that sort of thing.. General/relocation will get you more into the mainsteam of what's going on. Having said.....I do believe most of us read ALL the forums, so it's doesn't matter too much, but I do skip the community more than the others.
