WAPA LEAC - Electricity Rates

One of the most shocking things about living here in the VI, is the electrical bill. We are currently being charged around 42 cents per kilowatt/hour and it is likely to be going up with the price of crude oil. WAPA charges us five times the average rate in the United States.

Up to 42c? Wow. Certainly has gone up from my recent research. Yeah. I did find rates were a good 3 times the prices here. I wonder if you have any alternative energy shops? Price of wind is impossible to raise. I left GreenMountain Energy cause they were just expensive compared to traditional energy here; but they were still 1/3rd that price (I think they were about 15c). But, like I said, it's no possible to raise the price of wind. _
