The Reichhold Center for the Arts will launch its Youth Moviemaking Workshop (YMW) on June 24, 2013. Applications to this summer program are due June 7, 2013. The program ends August 10, 2013.
The YMW is a seven week hands-on workshop tailored to motivate, educate and build practical skills in moviemaking for students ages 12 through 16. This workshop touches on the language of film, acting and team building skills. Students also learn how to operate cameras, write scripts, and digital editing using industry standard computer software. Students film and produce their own scripted stories or documentaries which will be featured at a Red Carpet Premiere to be held at the Reichhold Center the evening of August 10, 2013.
YWM takes place at the Reichhold Center Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Lunch will be provided. Applications are available online at www.reichholdcenter.com call at (340)-693-1550 for more information application Deadline is June 7th.
