What's the 1 thing that makes you love St. John so much? Thanks!

My first visit to St. John, many years ago, I took a taxi (open air) from the ferry dock to Maho Bay (Northwest shore). Every time we went over a hill or around a curve, I gasped from the beauty. Literally gasped! I've seen many beautiful beaches in the Caribbean, from Puerto Rico, and down island to South America, and nothing is any prettier than St. John, IMO.

It is the epitome of a Caribbean island.
We rented villas there for several years and if it wasn't so congested and expensive I would be there in an instant. It looks and feels like a tropical paradise. (or at least it use to before it was over-run by the masses of people and bought out by the over consumers.)

The fact that who am I and how I choose to live in the world make sense on St. John -- everywhere else it's like swimming upstream. 😛
