Is this a bit high? I haven't shipped anything back and forth to the Islands is close to 40 years, but I thought the rates usually run around $1000.00 or at least I thought I had seen some on here post that this is around what they paid. This quote was for Blue Ocean Transport for a 2013 Honda CRV made in the USA. Insurance is extra.

Can't say as I've never shipped a vehicle but it sounds reasonable.
Who are you shipping with?

I shipped a big truck with SeaStar from Jacksonville to STX... cost $1,400 3 years ago

I imagine freight to STX might be cheaper as we do more volume?

Recent quote from Logistics Int. was $1300 for small Ford Ranger from Miami to STT.

I was told that most of the Sea Star ships go to both STX and STT each trip. I was incorrectly quoted a price for STT last year. When they corrected it for STX, the price stayed the same for that reason.

Thanks for the replies, I wasn't sure. I hadn't heard of Blue Ocean Transport before so I wanted to get a quote from them to get an idea of what the shipping cost would be. I'm glad to see that it isn't out of line from what others have paid.
