1.Any recommendations for a quality denist on st thomas?....just need a thorough cleaning and maybe 1 cavity taken care of. i dont have health insurance so i know it will run me some cash but thats not so much of a problem.

2. I really want to visit Cuba in the near future, I''ve been searching online for ways to get there from BVI or other carribean islands but can't seem to get an acceptable search answer, due to travel restrictions. what's the best way to get there? any help would be greatly appreciated

To get to Cuba, take American Eagle to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic then Cubana de Aviacion to Havana.

Are you a US citizen? If so, there are many restrictions on travel to Cuba...you cannot just go to Cuba on a US passport. There exceptions, but not for general "I want to check it out" tourism.

I know nothing of Cuba -- I do recommend Dr. Pomerantz in STT as a dentist - excellent service in all aspects.
He is located near the top of Raphune Hill in Al Cohens east. 775-1826

Thanks rotorhead, planning my trip as we speak. also thank you exit zero, gonna see him sometime soon.

@stxem- the state dept has loosened their travel restrictions to cuba significantly in the last decade. you just can't bring any goods back from there and ask the passport office to not stamp your p-port. instead they staple a tourist card with the stamp on it into your p-port wich they remove on leaving the country. I've heard Cuba is a fascinating place, still stuck in the 60's.....i have to go there and see for myself.

Without an exception from the government, you can be fined and questioned when you return back. However, it's small chance that the government will find out. If the risk of being flagged by the state department is acceptable to you, then go for it!
