Someone I know can't make it, but has a reservation. If anybody wants to participate in her place, let me know. She'd like reimbursement for her bib ($50).

You should post this on the 8 Tuff Facebook page. Peter is asking people to do so, and it seems popular. Sorry your friend can't make it!

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll look into it, though I hate Facebook.

Facebook is scary bad, IMO. I logged on the other day to check something on some business's page, and there was a list of people that Facebook thought I might know. I haven't seen a Facebook page yet that gave me the info I was looking for.

I waste enough time on VINOW, etc. I don't need another Internet time-waster. 🙂

You provide the experience you want on Facebook. If the Facebook pages you are looking at are lacking information you are seeking, it is the fault of the person or people who created the page, not Facebook. And I am certain that these page creators would appreciate constructive feedback. I LOVE Facebook. How else am I going to be able to show off all the fun I'm having living in the VIs if I couldn't post it on Facebook? LOL, my family in Colorado, Indiana, and Texas would just have to wonder. You don't have to friend every person Facebook reccomends.

I've gone round and round with a couple of other people in my life (the bf, for one) who think Facebook is the worst thing since Hitler. If you don't want to use it, don't. I find that folks who hate Facebook so just repeat rumors that they have heard -- "oh, I don't want everyone knowing what I ate for breakfast" ... Okay, well you don't have to tell them. "My privacy..." okay, well there are lil controls over there and you set them as you like. My little cousins don't need to hear about my hangover this morning, so I make sure that they can't! " I don't need 3,000 friends." yeah, neither do I, that's why I don't. You don't have to accept any friend requests you don't want to. Must stop now. I'm getting myself all in a lather over this subject which obviously is a prickly area for me.

Thanks for allowing me the rant.
