I had read that cvs mails to the VI's and even gives free shipping with any purchase over 50$. But I was filling out my account info and it says enter valid city, state and zip. I put St. John, VI 00831 and it wont work? Am I forgetting something? Do i need to put cruz bay instead of st john? HELP!

Thank you

Yes, try Cruz Bay as the city and USVI as the state.

I just received a package from CVS.com this week -- yes, I had to put in Cruz Bay into the City field; they would not accept St John. Drove me crazy until I figured it out! Good luck.

St John is the preferred "city" entry -- sometimes you're not allowed to put that in. If that's the case, try various forms (I never thought of "Saint John"; good one!) until you get something that works. As long as the zip is correct, that seems to be the main thing.

I only ever put St John VI 00830 - I have a mailbox at the Mail Center in Cruz Bay - when ordering from CVS and it works fine - there are a few sites I order from that will come up as "invalid address please confirm" or "do you want to continue address not in the USPS database" (or something like that) and you just hit OK and it goes through.

Pia, the CVS.com site wouldn't let me continue with my order when I put in St. John -- my zip is 00831. I wonder if that's the difference?

Occasionally I have had to complete my order by phone to thwart a "know-it-all" computer system. The zip is the most important part; putting something other than "St John" or "VI" in the address line may or may not slow things down when the zip is correct... perhaps depends on whether the USPS gods are smiling that day!

Some times the problem is they do not show virgin islands as a state.
I've found if you just put in VA as the state & the correct zip code, it arrives no problem mon.

I also order from CVS. Expecting the next one to arrive by Wednesday. I receive my mail at the Mail Center. Wish I could help you.
