All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs)

With all due respect, do you all have something against regular transportation?

I suspect they would have to be street legal and licensed and pass the inspection like any other motor vehicle if you want to drive them on the main roads.

I have never seen an ATV, either on or off road. Closest thing are the open Jeeps.

I have seen a couple of Quads on the road on the north shore. It is not a good idea, nor do I think it is legal to drive / ride them on the beach. Can be dangarous toi the sea turtle nests.
Many of the roads are narrow and a lot of brush right at the sides. I think it would be dangerous to ride them on the roads due to the cars probably aren't used to looking out for them. IMHO!

Bad roads, no bikes, ATVs not used, I guess I will have to have my boyfriend pick me up and drive me home in a regular way.

I would come and have a look at the island if I were you - the question about driving ATV's kinda threw me. THese islands are very like the mainland in their driving laws, road markings, cars, etc. Would you drive an ATV to Walmart in downtown Miami?

Here's the answer: No, they are not legal. Feasible? Sure...but, it's also 'feasible' to drive them thru the Casino at Divi...NOT recommended, though! (sorry for this last part...I just didn't want to be the ONLY one to give a straight answer! haha!)
