My alternator died on me.
1.) Who do you recommend I go to on Stt?
2.) Should I buy a remanufactured/rebuilt one online or is there someone on island that does a good job?

Rhett at Shade Tree Alternator Exchange in Frydenhoj just past the ball park on the left. 775-7550. Most island mechanics and several of the dealerships use him - he does an excellent job.

In Sub Base there is also Eric at Branford Aircraft and Marine. He has always done a good job when I have needed something rebuilt and fair on price as well...

I ALWAYS use Lenard at Lenard's Auto. He's just beyond the car wash by 4 Winds.
He actually started out where Shade Tree is located in Frydenhoj and grew his business.
I have had him maintaining my vehicles for over 30 yrs. 775-9877
Never a problem.

Two people just told me about Tony(Antonio) & Roberto in Sub Base - take a right at the V by Crown Bay Center, then at the first corner of the first right turn street. Does anyone have any experience with them or heard anything about them, like their work, prices, etc?
They only install the alternator.
