Not to repeat anyone in the previous post but you will need a Green Card/Work Visa/become a US Citizen to work and live full time in the U S Virgin Islands.
I do not mean to sound rude at all, but hope you are aware of this.

Thanks for your reply and I am aware. I likely would be going with a travel nurse company. Still would like to hear from any Canadians already living down there.
