I have plans to move to the virgin Islands in the near future. I have been pondering the idea of opening up a pub along the beach. However the idea of opening a pub anywhere is scary. My question is does anyone have a particular place that they feel would be a good location on any of the islands? My vision is to cater to locals as well as tourist.

Any comments will be greatly appreciated !!!!

Thank You,
David

I could imagine Fredricsted when it is done with all the construction would be a great place for a pup. Which island are you considering right now. From what I could tell all of them had a good amount of pups near the towns. If you can identify a beautiful spot a little off beat and then also serve some daily specials I think that would be the way to go. When I vacation I always look for places away from the crowds. Most everytime I ask the locals for such a place they send us to a spot most all Islanders know. The name would pop up everytime we ask a different islander. Serve some local juices as well. We where shocked that many of the pubs only served what we where use to from the mainland. It would be great to go to a place with some local drinks and dishes. Cruzen Rum is great in some tropical juices. But nobody carried them.
