(STT) - I've gotten maybe 3 of 12 calls to go thru today, and 2 of the 3 dropped. Is it just me or is the tower near town jacked up? Driving me nuts.

turns out when you drop your phone on tile it sometimes doesn't work anymore.....
I post this not to bump it up, but so that for the next xxx months or years people searching for AT&T or cell phone service on here don't think that there's a big problem with it.....just with the owner of my particular one [me] who was too cheap to buy a case for it and now got his 4th phone in 9 months. This time with a case as thick as an armored car.

otterbox are wonderful cases. i have dropped my phone numerous times with no problems :@)

Both of my phones look new thanks to the OtterBox. Their Defender Series are excellent. There are other good alternatives out there that are waterproof. Even if the case makes for a larger phone, it is well worth it.
On the other hand, if the wind blows hard enough and if we get hit with a good amount of rain, the cellphone service suffers badly.
