Anyone aware of this medical sharing plan?

Just throwing this out there. From Kim's latest newsletter: Health Insurance Update! A few issues ago, I wrote about Cigna Health Care and how they would cover you in the USVI. Well, I am SO sorry, but I was wrong. They DO cover you here, BUT you have to live OUTSIDE the US at least part of the time to get coverage. I am so sorry to have misled you. However, my friend Amy Rose Herrick, who is a financial planner and consultant here on the island, has come up with an alternative. She has secured access to help interested individuals and families apply to Altrua HealthShare using their established health care sharing ministry plan. Membership is open now to Virgin Islanders and other geographic areas for singles or families, those under age 65 and those over age 65 that qualify for membership. All applicants must qualify for membership and each application will be reviewed to determine if they qualify for the sharing of heath care needs. It is important to understand that any medi-share or health care sharing ministry plans are not health insurance. They are an established alternative to allow individuals to share their medical expense needs. These alternatives first came into being back in the early 1980’s and they are a recognized exemption to the Obamacare mandates. Altrua HealthShare discussed here has been in existence since 1999. Altrua HealthShare enrollment is open at any time and not limited to any calendar period. You also have to be able to prove the person who made the alleged libelous claim KNEW the claim was false

I've made plenty of claims over my life. None were libelous because I was just making sh!t up right?

Not really true. You have to prove the statement was false.
