Anyone on Linkedin?

I've been on linkedin.com for quite some time now and find it useful as a networking tool for businesses and professionals.

I started a group a while back on the site called St Croix as a venue for businesses on the island to share their knowledge and develop their business.

The group has been gaining momentum (even though I've neglected it for a bit during my move), and there is interest in seeing it grow and succeed, as there are little STX specific business sites on the net.

If you are a member of linkedin already, just search for the group St Croix and join (membership is open). If you are a business person or professional on the island, I would encourage you to join linkedin and find your way to the group so we it can develop further in to a comprehensive STX business destination on the net.

Thanks,

What a response! Eight new members in the last 24 hours.

I realize that I misspoke in my original post. I should have said whether your are a business owner, professional, or just a RESIDENT that wants to get involved in the successful economic development of the island, YOU ARE ENCOURAGED TO JOIN.

1) The business owners and professionals on the island can only be successful with the input of all of our residents.
2) Businesses are encouraged to put up events and special offers to the membership, and residents should be able to take advantage of them.
3) When talking with our friends, relatives, and visitors about purchasing options, they should be able to direct them to the group site to explore any discussions on their topic or requirements.

This venue is open to all that wish to participate.

Thanks
