Anyone want a workout partner out west?

Hi all!
I seriously need to get back in shape after having my baby, but get bored if I'm working out alone. I'm looking for someone who may be interested in walking (eventually running), or maybe taking a swim early in the morning 3 days a week. We could maybe meet over by Whim ballpark or Whim museum and go from there.

Nothing too serious, if I can't make it one day, don't get all touchy 🙂

Just need some company since my husband would have to be home with our boys.

PM me if interested!

P.S. I also have an excersice ball, resistance bands and a jump rope.

Thanks
Denise

If I lived closer and had a more regular schedule, I'd take you up on that, but unfortunately I don't think it would work. 🙁

However, for the days when you don't have a workout buddy, you might try what I do... I put my iPhone to work! I catch up on phone calls or listen to podcasts. I listen to lectures on topics related to my job so I can keep up to date. I download free stuff from my favorite radio stations back in Phoenix and New Orleans -- mostly junk food for the mind, but hey, it keeps you going when you're exercising! (Let me know if you want specifics.) And if you hint to your friends and family that you'd enjoy iTunes gift cards for holidays, then you can build up a decent collection of music without spending an arm and a leg.

Have fun, and good luck finding a partner! 🙂

Edited to add the word "free."

There is also a free class at the airport on Monday-Thursday at 5 AM. My friend and I have been trying to get together to do this, but haven't yet... mostly because of the time. I think we are just going to commit to do it next Tuesday, though, regardless.

Oh, THAT's what that is! I saw that last time I had an early flight and couldn't quite figure out it. That's dedication!!
