FYI--
For those (and apparently there are a few) who have purchased appliances and find something goes amiss after the manufacturer's warranty expires, if you purchased it with a MC their extended warranty program does extend to STT. I just received reimbursement for repair done on my fridge that was beyond the GE 1 yr warranty, but within the free second year provided by MC.
Just thought I'd share...

Just to let you know Best Buy in Puerto rico is offering service calls and all warranties in the USVI. I bought a Wine Cooler and a Loundry washer they told me they have technical support already contracted in STT and STX. You buy from Best Buy you don't pay the P.R sales tax they ship it for free if is over $ 250.00 dollars thru UPS freight is going to be about 4-5 days.

I bought a washer at BB in the states, and the extended warranty says it will cover in the USVI. I called and spoke with the warranty folks before finalizing the purchase. Don't know about shipping though, as we are putting in our own container. Usually, we have appliances (generally from Sears) delivered to VI Cargo and pay the shipping/customs on that part, but don't get any warranty coverage on those.

No i went to the Store right across the street from plaza las americas in San Juan. I don't like to Buy a washer without seeing it i also went to handle other things that i need it to get in puerto rico. They ship thru UPS freight!!! so they were the ones who deliver the washer and wine cooler to my house. Make sure you hire 2 guys specially plumber to install the washer because UPS only delivers it. Also be Known there are about 3 Circuit city stores in puerto rico, Guaynabo ( sanjuan) Caguas, Ponce... I don't know if the free shipment also includes purchases over the internet i was offer that at the store and i took it. They also told me any warranty problems they have technical support in the USVI>
