My partner and I are planning on a trip to St Croix, the first week of April to check out the island.
Any suggestions for places to stay or not stay would be appreciated. We don't golf, and don't plan on taking part of many of the activities offered. This is merely an expedition.
Have done some research on houses for sale, but like some of the postings on this site, not found much info on rentals. (our dog is a miniature dachshund)

Are you looking for suggestions on where to stay during your visit or for potential rentals if and when you make the move? If the latter, you might consider working with a real estate agent who can take you around to see what's available. Keep your eye on craigslist too as well as the classified section on this site.

The Tamarind Reef Resort is a good choice for a mid priced stay.
