I have a friend who will be staying on St. Croix for the remainder of the year. He is looking at renting an apt. at either The Reef, Cruzan Princess or St. C (one on the lower level or one on the second floor). Price range is within $50 of each other. Any opinions which one would be the best choice?

I'll chime in here.
The Reef is the most resort-like of the three. It is about 15 min. further away from C'sted so if your friend will be doing a lot of driving he might prefer to stay at Cruzan Princess or St. C. Although not directly on a beach, the beach is right across the street from the Reef.
Between St. C and Cruzan Princess I think St. C. is nicer.
I would suggest going onto MLS and looking at some condos to get a better feel for the complexes. Most listings indicate the available amenities and show lots of photos of the facilities.
