Yes.

The hospital is hiring skilled nurses.
The local Hospice Care is running radio ads for skilled nurses.

Cindy: There are two Hospice groups- Continuum 714-2273 and La Paz 715-3113.

Also for Medicare certified home health care- Seaview Health Care: 775-1660.

These are all on St Thomas. There are the same services on St Croix, but we need you over here!! :@) Someone from St Croix can try to recruit you over there! Also Schneider Regional Medical Center is always looking!! I don't have the nurse recruiter's, Marcy Cohen, number handy, but if you are interested, will try to get it for you.

Thanks, I may go this route. Only problem I was thinking with this, is that these positions are temp, as I would be looking for long term.

cincascal,
i am leaving key west for STT on feb 5th. I also have a teenager that splits time between her mothers and my home. Ive been researching schools and other teenage related things to do on the island. When are you thinking about moving?

Good for you. I beleave if you can take the keys any of the Virgins would be an upgrade! My daughter is 15 going on 25. lol before finalizing my move i really considered what life for her might be like there. Visiting just doesn't give enough insight. I have received alot of good feed back here. The reviews are mixed, but still good info, I wouldn't have received if it wasn't for this message board. If I can help your move in any way let me know.
John~
