If you did not attend VITEMA expo at Sunny Isle yesterday---go to the VITEMA website; vitema.org. Sign up for VIAlert.
VITEMA is also looking for volunteers. Its not to late to volunteer for this HURRICANE season---let us help to plan to be prepared.
PS I started volunteering this week, great group of workers at VITEMA and committed to do the BEST to plan and be prepared for the Virgin Islands----------but they need volunteers NOW, not after a disaster. Go to the VITEMA website and sign up now, I did for an important reasons-MY FAMILY, MY COMMUNITY-St Croix, and as a retired 20 year veteran, to continue my commitment to serve, protect, and defend the greatest country in the world--United States of America.
Post after you sign up for VIALERT---and post of any problems you encounter on the website.

I signed up for the web site several months ago. The problem I had was with earth quake alerts. I was getting way to many alerts even after I moved the setting up to magnitude 7. Finally had to remove earthquakes from the list of things I wanted to be warned about.
No great loss since once an earthquake has happened it is over.
