off and on, weak signal, they told me to replace my SIM card at the AT%T store. I'm still trying to psyche myself up for that encounter.

I actually saw a sign on Mt. Welcome Pharmacy's cash register a couple of days ago regarding AT&T. Supposedly their reps are telling people that they had no idea there was even a problem last time because no one called -- even listed a toll-free number with a request for people to call with service issues from now on. And all this was going on during the same time as the last post on this issue when everyone was calling to complain and get credits!

Here's a nice iphone app for reporting outages directly from your iphone. (If you have a wireless router at home with wifi enabled to connect your iphone to the internet during outages you can report outages as they happen!)

We had some customers saying theirs was up and down today, but you know, around here anytime it rains one carrier or the other is going to have issues. Seemed to be doing a little better this afternoon.

A friend of mine printed those little signs and handed them out during the last episode of no AT&T service. Everybody calling to report problems seemed to make AT&T jump a little faster than usual then. We need to keep doing that everytime we have trouble here. Otherwise they think it's limited to just a few people which doesn't justify flying a tech down here to fix it.

What's odd about yesterday is even with full signal it was difficult to get a call through. This morning, with full signal, I couldn't even get through to voice mail without first restarting my phone. Ten minutes later and I can't make any calls. Not even to voicemail. Will be calling AT&T later on my magicJack.

Service went out Saturday evening during the World Series. Off and on sporadically. When I called yesterday they claimed they had no other calls reporting the problem.

Unless everyone calls we could be without reliable service for a week or more like the last several outages. Unless there is a loud squeak nothing will get fixed.
