I bought those coils but I cant seem to get them to stay lit-no matter how long I hold it to the flame. Also when I opened the pkg most were broken, that doesn't have anything to do with their performance though. Is there some trick I'm missing?

greets

burning tea tree oil in a diffuser works well.
on the same token, a dab of tea tree oil on a bite brings immediate relief.

for other stings and bites that may be a bit more severe...

take a bit of tobacco and wet it well until it is a bit spongy, then apply it to sting or bite...leave on...one may have to put gauze over it with a bit of tape if you have to move....but leave it on.

you will begin to feel a big sting...but it will ease as poison from bite is released into the tobacco.

then remove....there should be no more pain from issue.

as a sidenote...if one is bleeding and it will not stop easily, but does not warrant stitches or a tetenus shot, find some cobwebs and stuff them on gash...it will aid in clotting and healing will be faster.

oregano oil is good for helping wounds heal and to stave off major scarring.

sorry, just got into the healing vibe here....did not mean to get off topic

the coils do NOT stay lit with a flame..............they just smoke & burn more like charcoal.
I get a head ache from the scent, but the freedom of those freakin skeeters is worth it.
I usually find it harder to break them apart & un coil the coils w/out breaking the whole blasted thing......:-X

Thanx Sis for you healing vibes!
