I have an opportunity to come to the VI to teach elementary school. I would be leaving the states when my daughter is only seven months old. How difficult would it be to bring her there? Will she have to get shots? Is there adequate child care?

Apparently, if you have a school teaching position offer, you have some connections to the islands.

The questions you need to answer would cover a whole book. (there is one available..see above 'Settlers Handbook')

There are no simple answers to your questions, but there are many people on this board with the experience and the willingness to try to help you out.

Please.... Use this board as a resource. Go to the top of the board and use the 'search' function to check specific topics.

Please ask again and again. You will be impressed with the response from people who have done exactly what you are doing.

Best of Luck.....
