Anyone else had BAD experiences with Dr. Fabio at Sunny Isles? He did a lot of work on me almost all of which has fallen out, cracked and needed to be replaced. I am considering suing him for malpractice and wondered if there's a pattern to his shoddy workmanship or if I am unique in this experience. Also a warning to the wise do not see Dr. (not so) Fabio. On the brighter side, I now go to Dr. Kenses office and they are doing an excellent job replacing all of the work done by Dr. FAB. Thanks Dr. Fabio for nothing, you'll hear from me soon.

Wow, I think this is the same quack my wife went to (not sure, I'll check) who we later found out is known widely as Doctor Pain because he doesn't use enough anesthetic to numb you...

My wife also went to Dr. Kenses office to get rework done and had a great experience there.

to the contrary, Dr. Fabio has always done me well and has helped many people I know get emergency service on the spot. He's fees have never been more than expected....I (and spouce) actually left Kenses office because he would not do the work I wanted. Dr. Fabio also serves inmates at the prison and works at the free clinic near C'sted serving the less fortunate.

Heavy, hopefully you tried to talk with your dentist before pulling the suit card!

greetings heavy

that sounds very surprising to me. i know the Fabio family personally and they are a fine family who have much pride in serving the community and have been on the island forever and are true Crucan. i worked for the elder Dr. Fabio for a time and always saw him treat ones with gentleness and respect. his son, Sanford, was following in his footsteps. Stanford too, has a gentleness about him and has always helped people. i cannot imagine any of these accusations to be true. i do not know if Standford's son Tariq has become a dentist as well, but if so, i would expect he follows the same high standards as his grandfather and father. sometimes teeth are weak by heredity, and no matter what is done to them to try and save them they still cannot be saved...work can be done to a weak tooth but it is only a temporary situation. nothing in this world is guaranteed. heavy, i would make an appointment to talk to Dr. Fabio and reason about your concerns. remember you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. please keep in mind that they are big on respect when you chat with him.

blessings

OK, I checked with my wife and it IS NOT Dr. Fabio where she had her bad experience but it was Dr. Kenses who fixed the botched work.

I may be wrong, but I read that to say that Dr F. did not do his wife's bad work, but Dr K. did a good job repairing the bad work done by a third denist.

That's correct. The bad work was done by someone not listed here and was corrected by Dr. Kenses.

Say what you want. Between having a beyond incompetent office staff and his pushing to serve as many customers as possible Fabio sucks. That 2 restorations, 4 filings and 1 crown did not last 3 years is evidence enough of negligence and malpractice on the doctor's part.

2 restorations, 4 fillings and 1 crown is evidence enough of hygene malpractice on your part! As I said before, I hope you talked with your Dr. before pulling the malpractice suit card. After a month of responses, seems you are the only one that thinks Fabio is not so FAB.
