WOW! AGAIN?! There was a shooting at Canegata a few months back. My husband was there playing a baseball game when it happened. A little girl was shot... so unfortunate and infuriating! I'm gonna giv my husband a call, he's at the ballpark right now...

I heard many sirens around that time and wondered what was going on. Hoping for the best.

Came out of yoga (Kalima Center) just after the Sirens went through - saw some friends who said the sirens were heading the other way.... toward the police station.
But also heard that No Bones was robbed either yesterday or 2 days ago?

Some of the sirens may have been from a firetruck motorcode that was heading out West from the other side of the island. It was for fire prevention week/month. Check your detectors!

My husband was at Machuchal... I'm curious to know if there was a shooting or not. I live over West and heard the sirens very close, they lasted about 10 minutes or so. Why would I hear them over here if the shooting was at Canegata??

From what I understand Giovanni's did get robbed last night, but there wasn't a shooting at the ballpark. The story I was told was that all the sirens were for the fisherman that they had found who drowned. He apparently was a medic or a police officer as well. But we all know the coconut grapevine.
