Good Morning- From your experience is it best to leave the cut stems and leaves as a mulch around the trees or remove. If it matters we are on STX. Thanks

I have always chopped and used as mulch. A lot of moisture and minerals in those stems.

On the other hand we keep ours clean, eliminates environment for insects and looks better, IMO.
