We've been doing some research online, but have only been able to find one Baptist church in St. Croix - Sovereign Grace Baptist in Frederiksted. Does anybody know of any other (Southern) Baptist churches in St. Croix? I ask because, at this point, we're looking at living in or near Christiansted.
Thanks in advance, Tim & Julie

Tim and Julie,

Here are some more...

Community Baptist Church (340)778-1121
Island Baptist Church (340)772-1288
Muckle Memorial Baptiste Church (340)773-5990
Southgate Baptist Church (340)773-3551
The Way of the Cross Baptist Church (340)773-7776

I would quess that in the USVI there are well over 100 "churches". Some of these are the traditional church building, steeple, stain glass windows, pews.... and some are not. Some are small buildings, room in a building, tent, trailer (the latter two are usually before they get a perminant building built)... some are in unfinished buildings... Be sure to call the various churches and visit them and see what they are like, maybe attend a mass and meet the pastor -before selecting which church you would like to join.

All the best with your move.

Thanks for your help Islander! Yes, we'll definitely visit them first before joining. It's just nice knowing that they are there, and that we won't have to drive a long distance.
My wife just looked in our "Settler's Handbook" and found a few more, if anyone else is interested:
Altona - Northside Road (340) 778-1331
Calvary - Upper Love (340) 778-1014
Freewill - Sion Hill (340) 773-3179 (also has a school)
Grace - Mt. Pleasant (340) 772-1516
Grace - Golden Rock (340) 773-5990
Sunny Isle - Karaval (340) 773-4406

Guess I should have looked there first... 😉 Tim
