Headline: St. Thomas - St. John Ferries Permitted to Operate through 6 PM Today; Barge Schedules Have Been Adjusted

The Coast Guard is permitting St. Thomas and St. John ferries in the U.S. Virgin Islands to continue local service until 6 p.m. today, unless weather conditions deteriorate faster than expected causing the service to be suspended earlier.

Both Boyson Inc. and Island Vic ferry companies have adjusted today's barge schedules.

Boyson Inc's final barge run is set for 2:30 p.m. from St. John and 3:30 p.m. from St. Thomas.

Island Vic will make its final barge run at 4:30 p.m. from St. John and 5 p.m. from St. Thomas.
