does anyone know what the big barge is doing at buck island???
just curious. had bright lights on all night. are they dredging (sp) its early.....

The dock is being demolished and reconstructed by the NPS.

Yes, the dock is being replaced at last. There have also been other repairs and improvements to the facilities on Buck over the last few months, not to mention almost $2million in restoration work in the Christiansted NHS. It's been nice to see things happening in our parks.
