BEC versus WAPA Fuel Surcharge (LEAC) ???

they may only attribute 15 cents to the leac equivalent in Bermuda, but the total rate is 40+ cents, not much under the VI...so they just allocate the expenses differently

beachy. The fuel surcharge in Bahamas is equivalent to Bermuda also. However, I believe the 40 cent rate is made up of:

Generating Operations Cost, T&D, Fuel Surcharge + escrow for equipment replacement. See this video.

If WAPA is dumping more into LEAC then they should break it down. Plus I don't think WAPA has the funds to buy new equipment like Bermuda. Some Smells.
