Hi! My husband and I are going to STX for a pre-move visit at the end of this month, and would like recommendations on a bed and breakfast for the night. We are staying at the Buccaneer for most of our stay as it is paid for by the company, but are staying an extra day on our own dime and would like a nice BNB. Any recommendations? Also, anything that we absolutely have to do there? We have been in STX before on vacation for about a week a few years ago, but this time will be doing mundane activities like shopping, going to bank, etc, since we are considering the move. I really want to do the dinoflageletes tour and some snorkeling, but am open to other recommendations for fun as well. Thank you!

I think Arawak Bay Inn operates as a B & B, but not sure. You could google them. They are on the north shore (not on the beach), so a complete change from the beach resort style you'll enjoy at the Buccaneer. I've never been there but have heard, or read, nice reviews.

Enjoy!!

i would also check with the Buccaneer. Corporate guests can usually extend their stay for the corporate rate.

Villa Greenleaf is perfectly situated to provide what you're looking for. Close to Sunny Isle and the North Shore and only 8 minutes from Christiansted. Killer rooms and a gorgeous view.

I think your deciding factor will be which place accepts a booking of just one night.

I have heard good things about Villa Margritia. They are a bed and evening cocktails and snacks.

We do not have BnB like the states do. Stateside ones generally creep me out. I don't want to fill like I'm staying in a room in some strangers home. There are a few places like Cottages by the Sea, Sandcastles, etc that are fairly cheap and have things like kitchens, so you can try to live like your not so much on vacation.
