Hello!

I am wondering about the best schools at which to work. My strengths are in the following: gifted and talented, technology, language arts, journalism.

Any insights are welcome!

Thanks!

Better than what? What would lead you to assume that this isn't on the agenda?

STX....Good Hope Country Day private school. Or either of the two public high schools, they both offer AP programs.

Super helpful, thanks. I have worked in underserved urban secondary schools for the last six years. I am eager to learn about the schools here. Your insights are appreciated.

Granalog.it sound like the public schools would be a good fiT. There is an online phonebook you should be able to find the phone numbers you need to contact the right people. Also this topic was discussed not too long ago. Do a search on this foruM to find the info. Good luck.

if you enter "teaching" into the search engine you'll come up with a bunch of recent threads about teaching in the public school system on both STT and STX along with some excellent information from prospective newcomers who've already made an exploratory visit and started the process.
