Does anyone know whether Bestbuy ship to the USVI? Anyone actually received merchandise that way? If so, did it take long?
Also, totally unrelated questions, anyone can recommend a decent mechanic? Just for routine stuff, like oil change and brake change. I'm on STT.

I have bought from Best Buy and had my purchase shipped to the USVI. They only like to send small things to the islands, like DVDs. If you try to purchase a large item online their automated system will claim it can't ship the item to you even though there is a VI pull down box when you fill-in your address on their checkout form. If you call them and are persistent you will probably be able to get what you want but since large items are usually only shipped using a ground service like UPS or FedEx, even if you can get them to agree to send you what you want they will likely try to soak you on the shipping charges.
