7pm wednesday. Big fire north shore STX. Looks to be above Arawak west of salt river. Hope everyone up that way is ok. Thoughts ate with you.

Watching fire closely.....it appears to be at base of Clairmont Estates...I am at top of Clairmont......seems to be spreading, although I am being told it is "controlled"

two fires reported? and one over weekend? praying for a down pour quickly. lived here 23 years and not sure if i have ever seen it this dry for this long.

i have never seen the island this brown since i have been here. scarry. on my way to work there had been three fires-not today-but the evidence is there

"controlled burns" are not a bad thing; if you let too much material build up you'll have a worse fire later.

keep water in cisterns incase it is needed for a fire
