Just heard a really big poof up near Sibs in STTand the electricity is out. Can't get WAPA. Anybody know the deal?

Just heard it myself. Sounded like a transformer to me.

most time it is a fuse but it can also be a transformer. Either way call WAPA

Yup WAPA says transformer. Truck was on the way as of 20 minutes ago.
