I was wondering how hard is it for someone who has just moved to the island (STT) to find a job either as a mate on a fishing charter or as part of a crew on a sailing charter? I have a little experience on and around boats and also some experience offshore and nearshore fishing. Thanks for the help.

Truth is it depends. If someone needs a hand and you are standing there in front of them, you may have a shot. But you cannot do this until you are here -- NO ONE will hire you from afar.

She is a frequent poster on the board. Go to the top and click on "search", then click on "Author", and put in Pamela, and change the option to search all forums.
