Nauti Nymph, Awesome Power Boat Rentals - both in American Yacht Harbor in Red Hook would be good places to start. Both have web sites I believe.

Awesome and See N Ski are great because they both have the catamaran hull and four stroke engines. If you are looking for something less expensive there is a guy in from of the Beach Bar in St. John who rents out Nautica pontoon boats for $125-$175 for a full day depending on size. The caviat is you can only take these boats from cruz bay to Waterlemon Key so they are great for sightseeing and hitting a few snorkel spots on St. John but limit you somewhat.
My recomendation would be ask around when you get here and see if someone wants to split a full day on the Awesome or See N Ski boats.
