Hello Islander,
Good Evening. It is me, Tracie again. We just received our settler's handbook today, so, we got alot of information about moving. I had a couple of questions...Do you know if there are any bodybuilding contests over there? Also, we have a bearded dragon. The book didn't mention a whole lot about exotic pets, just that pets in general needed clearance from a vet of course. I would assume the same would go for a dragon, too? Thank you for your help, we do appreciate it.
Happy New Years!
Sincerely,
Tracie

Hello Tracie,

Not sure about the bodybuilding or the reptile pet rules... but here are some contacts that should be able to get you that information.

Bodybuilding you might contact a few of the gyms and see what is aviailable as far as contest go.

Area Code 340
Gold's Gym Of St Thomas 777-9474
AMERICA'S PARADISE GYM 773-6424
BAYSIDE FITNESS CENTER 693-2600
Carib Health Complex 774-4472

For others visit http://www.viphonebook.com search for Heath Clubs.

For the bearded dragon contact:
Agriculture animal and plant inspection - 776-2787
And Customs at the airport - 774-2520 or 774-4554

Hope these offices/businesses can help.

PS. Also contact your airline and find out what their regulations are for reptiles.
