I am looking for plastic baskets like you find at a dollar store stateside. I am setting up a classroom book library. Kmart in Fred. had some small plastic bins saturday but today was told someone bought them all. I have looked at Sunny Isles Kmart with no luck. If anyone knows of a local shop or online retailer willing to ship here cheap, please respond. I have checked the Closet but no luck. I was able to find lots of books.
Thanks for any info.

Just a thought, but what about the milk crates. I have seen the water delivery truck throwing them in the dumpsters. So maybe one of the water companies would save them for you! We used them for storage back in the states and then used the plastic tie wraps to secure them together.

Merry Christmas!

I find the Really Good Stuff company is a great source for all kinds of classroom supplies. Here is a big selection of book baskets: http://www.reallygoodstuff.com/category/organizers/plastic+baskets.do?sortby=ourPicks&&page=all I checked and it appears they might ship to the USVIs for a $15.00 additional charge.

Oriental Trading has some, too, at decent prices, but I'm unclear about its shipping policy. I found these at Oriental Trading:
