Has anyone been down to Botany Bay before?

I went exlporing down there the other day.

There are all these newly cut dirt roads. And some nice private beaches!

Is the area going to be developed? Turned into a resort?

Does anyone know the names of the little islands that are right out past the tip of ST. Thomas there?

Go to the Daily News' website and do a search on it. There have been numerous articles relating to the development of a community there. I'm thinking of buying a lot there, just for investment purposes. That real estate is going to go up and up in value over the next 5-10 years. JMHO.

Hello Ian,

Its a development, Preserve at Botany Bay. 42 lots averaging 4+ acres each. Gated community. I read that it has its own helipad. Realtors site promoting to reserve your choice lot at pre-development prices.

Here is information from EAST about Botany Bay from when the permit process was going on.

http://www.eastvi.org/botanyapc.pdf#search ='botany%20bay%20development%20%20st.%20thomas%20usvi

The Newspapers will have reports on the permit decisions, case, debates etc.
