I might be moving to STX and was wondering if there are any quarantine laws?? or is a health certificate and proof of vaccination's enough???

Our dog just came down last week and we had to have a health certificate from our vet and an acclimation statement from the vet saying he could travel in temperatures up to 95 instead of the usual 85 that the airlines allow.

No quarantine laws. Heat embargo ends around mid to late september. Need health certificate for the airlines (they may or may not ask for one). If hes over 20lbs he will have to fly in the cargo area so make sure you have an airline approve crate he can stand AND turn around in. Make sure you call ahead and book him on the flight, although this won't guarantee he'll get on. Airlines are evil for so many different reasons. But it is all worth the hassle in the end.
