I've been chilly the last three nights. Feels almost good to sleep under a comforter, doesn't it? How goes being married?

Isn't it funny how acclimated our bodies become to what we experience regularly! When I lived in Alaska, my mom would visit in the summers from Oklahoma and spend her whole time in sweats and under a comforter while we ran around in our shorts and tank tops. Now that I'm back in Oklahoma, our 50 degree days this time of year are freezing me to death and I can't wait to get to St. Croix for a week next month. :@) Fall is a beautiful time of year in Oklahoma, but scraping the frost off of my car every morning is not something I enjoy!! 🙁

Enjoy the cooler weather, those of you who DO enjoy it! And for those of you who don't, stay warm! 😀 Hope all of you have Happy Holidays! See ya soon!!

@ Pamela & Terry~ Married life is great! Yes, he keeps me warm when I am not passed out tired from work! But, seriously Christmas winds are early this year I think. We have had to close the french doors and wrap up in blankets....oh, and we have formally switched to red wine for warmth!

Cheers!

It's been delightful! I still have a fan on at night and I've only pulled a sheet over me once or twice 🙂

I live on the beach and keep my doors and windows wide open.

I love the breeze and haven't used a blanket. 🙂

After 25 years in Minnesota, northern Iowa, and the Caucasus, I guess I'm ready for nights in the 60s and 70s. :@)

I used to laugh that locals thought it was cold during the winter. Well, now I am not laughing...it's cold! I moved from New England about 8 years ago. Living at an elevation of 800 feet with the Christmas winds blowing...glad I have heavy socks and sweats. Brrr...but it feels great after a long hot summer. No complaints...at least I don't have to shovel snow:)

I think everyone should have the experience (at least once) of spending hours to shovel the snow out of your driveway, completing a beautiful job of it...and having the snow plowman come by in the street and push a big hill of snow across the mouth of your briefly beautiful driveway. 😀 Ahhhh, the memories....:-X I think I prefer the chilly weather of the Virgin Islands. LOL!
