Hello Everyone,
My fiance and I are landing on STT on September 1st and will need to get a car right away - my fiance is a handyman and will need to have a truck, ideally, we would like to try having one car for awhile. Can anyone recommend a place on STT that he would be able to buy a reliable used truck? Is our best bet to try and buy it used from an individual from the classifieds? Are there car lots that provide financing?

Hello Janelle,
Try the different avenues... look in the classifieds, see if any banks have repos up for sale, see if any of the rental car agencies have cars/trucks/suvs for sale (I know you said trucks but worth looking just the same) and look at the auto lots. Don't look to desperate to buy a vehicle, take you time look, see if you can bargain 🙂 If you are buying a used car from the owner, take it to one of the mechanic shops to get inspected so you can find out if its a lemon or a good deal (It will cost you but worth doing before buying.)!!
