Are telephone calls to the mainland international? If not, are the rates comparable to long distance calls on the mainland? Does anyone have any suggestions for the most economical system for making frequent mainland calls (eg. calling cards, long distance providers, cell phones)?

Thanks.

Hello Darrell,

Calls from the USVI to the mainland are not international. You can get home long distance plans with .10 cents a minute... .07 cents a minute... There are also some really good phone cards and cell phone plans from carriers like Sprint PCS with free nationwide and free nights and weekends also work great.
