Don't know of any campgrounds on STT. But there is one on Water Island.

Cramer Park on STX. It's all the way out east, not near town.

Mount Victory Camp is the only actual campground on STX. People do camp at other places, but they aren't campgrounds in the sense you mean.

FF: The Water Island campground is more a "cottage ground", not tent camping. You might want to contact Ronnie at http://crystalpalaceusvi.com/ for availabilty for his B&B downtown. It is within walking distance of the town fire station, labor dept, all sorts of job related venues.

I stayed at mt.victory in July and though I'm not an "out in the woods" camper the area and the people there made for a very unique and pleasurable stay, I would recommend it to anyone. I don't think St Thomas has camping, but maybe in the west near Hull Bay is possible.
