where would be the best spot to look for a used vehicle on stx? and would anybody happen to know the average price for something decent? i.e.- nothing too nice, just reliable.

I bought a Jeep Wrangler below blue book from a rental car company a few months ago.
I think many of them are selling their '05s because they are getting in '08s for the season . . .

Bare bones car with no title or registration problems, one that runs properly, is going to be around $2,000. It'll probably look like crap. I highly recommend taking a different approach than I took and spring for a $5,000 car which will not need maintenance. Mechanics and getting car parts here are two things that I try not to deal with, but don't have a choice considering the condition of the Manimal.

By the way, since you'll be working in a restaurant or something, you could just move to Christiansted and not worry about a car for a while. I know people in their twenties that live perfectly happy lives here without one. You've gotta bum rides to the grocers or live off of mini-marts, but there are worse things.

i actually do plan on living in Christiansted, so maybe that will be an option. thanks for the advice.
