I currently live in STX and need to register my car here. If I register it here in STX and move/transfer to STT do I need to re-register my car again or is it still good because it's within territory?

That is a very interesting question. I had never thought about that. Stranger things have happened here.

And the answer is ......

You need to go to DMV and get a paper that allows you to move the car between islands- no re-registering until next inspection//registration time.

What's the easiest way to ship my car from STX to STT? Any suggestions on shipping companies that offer the service?

It is not easy or a daily occurrence to transport a vehicle betwwen STT and STX --- now STT to STJ is an hourly occurrence.
Check Black Hawk shipping for STT----STX

There is no car/passenger ferry between STT and STX. It would be a matter of shipping your car. It is not easy, fast, or cheap.

It looks like about $250 each way on the Norma H. Plus a lot of paperwork. Bottom line, it's not feasible to ferry a car between islands just for a visit.
