Well, I certainly wouldn't recommend them from my experience. They once charged me $265 to tell me they couldn't find a problem. Mike at MPH charged me $220 to find and fix it.

Had a friend take her mini-van there. They had it several days and said they were working on the problem (never told her what was wrong). When she pressed them for a diagnosis, they told her they had her engine apart looking for the problem. I went with her and saw her car in the bay and it had not been touched. They wanted to charge her for diagnosing the problem. They hadn't even touched her car. We retrieved her car without paying them anything and took it to Mike @ MPH. He diagnosed the problem immediately and repaired her car the same day. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. Period!

I will say that i brought my car to MPH and they returned it to me saying that they couldnt figure out what was wrong and didn't want to start guessing. I brought it to CAM and they quoted me one price, and then charged me way over that but they did find the problem. I had to go to them and request a lower bill b/c what they charged me was outrageous compared to the original quote. I really dislike bringing my car to the dealer, but with the car at every other shop for months without finding the problem - which was just the fuel pump all along - i had no other option.

I would never go to anyone but Marvelous Marvin Auto on Midland Road. Carribbean Auto Mart is a rip off most of the time and MPH is ok sometimes, and not ok other times.

i actually tried to buy a car from them once under a no money down promotion and they set an appointment for me, took a good faith check and then reneged and said my credit was not good and i'd have to make a down payment after all.

i packed my little carrotle and left their office with my good faith check in hand. went to another local dealer (community motors) and spoke to irad, who was surprised that i was told my credit was bad since he saw the contrary and made arrangements to sell me a car. i told him maybe it was the bank they were using and he told me it was the very same bank.

now i cannot out an out accuse them of bait and switch, but i was none too pleased. so i have decided never to do business with them again. i did not file any complaint because it was not worth it. i had what i wanted within the week from someone who wanted me as a customer. the car is mine now, i've owned the title for some time.

still burns my toast when i think about it. i guess a single woman looked a little too easy.
